Adopt-A-Room
Imagine everything it takes to run your own home. Now multiply that by 32! Our incredible 36,000 square-foot House hosts 32 family rooms and is so much more than just a place to sleep at night. It’s a meal shared with another family in our dining room. It’s the warmth of a cozy couch in the living room while you catch up on the news. It’s the peace of mind of having a place to do laundry. We are equipped with all of the things that our families need to take care of themselves, so they can focus on the care of their children.
To operate the Ronald McDonald House, it costs approximately $130/night per room. Families who stay at the House are encouraged to make a $15 night donation, but families are never turned away if they cannot contribute. With mounting medical bills and travel costs, only about 30% of our families are able to pay even this modest amount for their stay at the House
Support Families by Adopting a Room!
The Adopt-A-Room program gives our supporters an opportunity to share these costs for a year. All 32 guest rooms and family common areas can be adopted with your annual gift:
32 Guest Rooms = $5,475- Kitchen = $25,000
Living Room = $25,000Laundry Room = $10,000Teen Room = $10,000Playroom – $5,000Library – $5,000- Front Porch – $5,000
- Dining Room – $25,000
As an annual Adopt-A-Room sponsor, you will receive the following benefits for 12 months from the time of your gift:
- A recognition plaque on the space of your adopted room.
- Commemorative ribbon-cutting and photo opportunity at the House.
- Recognition in our newsletter and annual report.
- A thank you letter and stories from RMHC of GC families.
- First opportunity to renew on your adopted room annually.
- Use of our logo in your own company’s publications, if applicable.
- Membership in the Big Max Network (corporate donor) or Red Shoe Society (individual donor).
