RMHC of Greater Charlotte serves families of sick or injured children receiving treatment in area medical facilities. RMHC of GC programming is designed to provide comfort and care whether a family needs an overnight stay the Ronald McDonald House, to run a load a laundry in our Family Room, or just grab a quick snack from one of our Hospitality Carts.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
The Ronald McDonald House of Greater Charlotte provides no-cost accommodations, meals, comfort, and care to families of sick or injured children from across the Carolinas, the country and the world, who are receiving treatment at area medical facilities in Charlotte, North Carolina. During short-term or extended hospital stays, the 32-bedroom home provides a safe haven for families to rest, eat, and find support from one another and the community as they cope with their children’s medical needs.

RONALD MCDONALD FAMILY ROOM AT CAROLINE’S CORNER
Ronald McDonald Family Room at Caroline’s Corner provides families of children receiving medical treatment at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital with the comforts of home while remaining just steps from their child’s bedside. The program provides a space where families can rest, reflect, and recharge at any point during their child’s treatment. RMHC of GC partnered with the Novant Health Foundation and the Comly family to open this program in May 2021. This partnership is extremely meaningful to all three parties, especially the Comly family who lost their infant daughter, Caroline, in 2018. The Comlys wished to see Caroline’s memory live on and wanted to create a space for families going through similar journeys with their children. Read more

HOSPITALITY CARTS
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte is excited to introduce a new program to our mission of providing comfort and care to families. The Hospitality Cart Program provides refreshments, care items, activities, and even more to families within the hospital setting. Hospitality Cart programming is currently “rolling” in Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital Emergency Department, Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital, Novant Health PMC Women’s Center/NICU, and Atrium Health Jeff Gordon Children’s Center. Like all RMHC of GC programs, the carts rely on donations from our community – including time and goods.
